Working student for sustainability & energy – corporate real estate (no internship)

Introduction to the job

Are you at the end of your bachelor’s degree or at the beginning of your master’s studies in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Sciences, or a comparable field and want to do more than just observe - you want to actively contribute? As a Working student for sustainability & energy – corporate real estate, you will play an important role in driving sustainable change at ASML Berlin. You will turn data into insights, support operational processes, and actively contribute to energy efficiency projects creating real impact for the environment and the future.

In the departments of the "Supporting Functions" you may not come into direct contact with our products, but with your expertise you contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our company. Only with colleagues from these structured, efficient and supportive departments, such as Human Resources, Accounting, Controlling, IT and Communications, is it possible for us to grow beyond ourselves and achieve our goals as a company.

Tasks:

Role and responsibilities

As a working student for sustainability & energy – corporate real estate, you will:

  • support administrative and operational activities within the Sustainability & Energy (Corporate Real Estate) team.
  • prepare environmental and energy data for reports, perform plausibility checks, and cross check data.
  • support the maintenance, update, and continuous improvement of our Energy Management System (ISO 50001).
  • identify deviations, trends, and energy saving potential, and contribute to the development of appropriate measures.
  • track energy related processes and follow up on agreed energy savings improvement actions.
  • participate in energy audits and support their preparation and follow up.

Requirements:

Education and experience

  • You are a Bachelor’s or Mater’s student in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Sciences, or a comparable program and are looking for a long term student position.
  • You are intrinsically motivated and passionate about sustainability and energy topics.
  • You enjoy working with data and numbers, analyzing them and presenting results clearly.
  • You work analytically, in a structured and reliable manner, and are open to a wide range of topics.
  • You learn quickly, are flexible, and take ownership of your responsibilities.
  • You have basic knowledge of building technology or electrical engineering (e.g. handling electrical parameters) and initial exposure to standards and management systems such as or 14001or ISO 50001.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently in both German and English.
