The objec­tive of the Chair of Inno­va­tion Eco­no­mics is to fos­ter a sustainable and glo­ba­li­zed know­ledge eco­nomy. We per­form inter­na­tio­nally reco­gni­zed, inde­pen­dent and res­pon­si­ble inno­va­tion rese­arch, which results we dis­se­mi­nate wit­hin the glo­bal sci­en­ti­fic com­mu­nity and among deci­sion makers in busi­ness and govern­ment. The Chair cont­ri­bu­tes to the know­ledge base and sci­en­ti­fic excel­lence of stu­dents in the field of inno­va­tion eco­no­mics, manage­ment and policy.

The Chair of Innov­a­tion Eco­nom­ics is seek­ing to employ a research stu­dent assist­ant (2022/09/01 until 2024/08/31) to sup­port the organ­isa­tion and pre­par­a­tion of lec­tures and tutori­als

Working field:

As a team-ori­ented stu­dent you sup­port the organ­iz­a­tion and pre­par­a­tion of lec­tures and tutori­als for the Chair's cur­riculum: Digital Innov­a­tion, Sus­tain­able Innov­a­tion, Innov­a­tion Eco­nom­ics, lntel­lec­tual Prop­erty Man­age­ment, Stand­ard­iz­a­tion and Sus­tain­ab­il­ity, and Innov­a­tion Policy (80%). Addi­tionc;illy, you have the oppor­tun­ity to sup­port empir­ical or inter­dis­cip­lin­ary research pro­jects in the con­text of innov­a­tion-related fields (20%).

Requirements:

Cur­rently enrolled at a Ger­man uni­versity in Bach­elor or Mas­ter level. Famili­ar­ity with rel­ev­ant eco­nomic and man­age­ment the­or­ies, exper­i­ence in research­ing and sum­mar­iz­ing sci­entific lit­er­at­ure, and interest in innov­a­tion eco­nom­ics and inter­dis­cip­lin­ary top­ics will be con­sidered bene­fi­cial.
You are able to work autonom­ously and respons­ibly and have good social skills. Very good writ­ing and com­mu­nic­a­tion skills in Eng­lish. Know­ledge of the Ger­man lan­guage is not strictly required.
