Research assist­ant - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len - 0.5 work­ing time

Work­ing field:

You will be integ­rated within the inter­dis­cip­lin­ary DCTC (Digital Cube Test Cen­ter) team at the chair of indus­trial inform­a­tion tech­no­logy at TU Ber­lin. There you engage in a national research pro­ject strength­en­ing the bicycle usage in cit­ies, where you are respons­ible for the tech­nical sim­u­la­tion. Fur­ther­more, you sup­port the coordin­a­tion and fur­ther devel­op­ment of the DCTC research centre.
Moreover, you will be integ­rated in the WvS­CIB (Werner von Siemens Cen­ter for Industry and Sci­ence) team, where you sup­port the usage and trans­fer of vir­tual and aug­men­ted real­ity tech­no­lo­gies to indus­trial digital twin applic­a­tions.
You will present and demon­strate your sci­entific res­ults and top­ics on inter­na­tional con­fer­ences and fairs.
There is also an oppor­tun­ity for doc­toral stud­ies.

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­ful can­did­ates must have com­pleted a uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in com­puter sci­ence, com­puter sci­ence in engin­eer­ing, media engin­eer­ing, com­puter graph­ics, vir­tual real­ity stud­ies
  • knowhow and interest in the field of VR, AR, mixed real­it­ies
  • struc­tured work­ing approach, pro­fes­sional atti­tude
  • pro­found Eng­lish and Ger­man lan­guage skills
