Work­ing field:

  • Con­duct­ing rese­arch in the fields of highly and fully auto­mated driv­ing func­tions, dri­ver assist­ance sys­tems, road hand­ling con­trol with a focus on lon­git­ud­inal and trans­ver­sal dynam­ics, energy man­age­ment and oper­a­tio­nal stra­te­gies for elec­tri­fied vehi­cles
  • Per­form­ing numer­ical mod­el­ing and full-vehi­cle sim­u­la­tion
  • Teach­ing tutori­als, both prac­tical and the­or­et­ical, in the areas of vehi­cle mechat­ron­ics and vehi­cle dyna­mic con­trol sys­tems
  • Assist­ing in con­duct­ing exam­in­a­tions
  • (Co-)super­vising Bach­elor’s and Mas­ter’s the­ses
  • Pro­vid­ing guid­ance to stu­dent assist­ants
  • Pre­par­ing reports and pre­sent­a­tions

Require­ments:

  • Suc­cess­fully com­ple­ted uni­ver­sity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in Con­trol Engin­eer­ing, Mechat­ron­ics, Elec­tri­cal Engin­eer­ing, Auto­mot­ive Engin­eer­ing, Mech­an­ical Engin­eer­ing, or rela­ted stud­ies
  • Very good know­ledge in the fields of con­trol engin­eer­ing and mod­el­ing and sim­u­la­tion (MAT­LAB/Sim­ulink) (requi­red)
  • Very good com­mu­nic­a­tion skills in Ger­man, both writ­ten and spo­ken (requi­red)
  • Good Eng­lish lan­guage skills (requi­red)
  • Pro­ject exper­i­ence is an advant­age
