Participation in running research projects as well as own research in the field of Mathematical Optimization and Machine Learning, especially of discrete-continuous optimization methods and their connection to Machine Learning. Teaching assistance (4 hours/week) in Mathematics and related topics at the institute of mathematics, e.g. supervising of students and their scientific theses.
