Research Assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen

Working field:

  • Collaboration in research projects on automated railroad operation
  • Development of system definitions and differential analyses of the status quo of railway operations
  • Collaboration in the preparation of system definitions and requirement, stakeholder and cost-benefit analyses, among others
  • Preparation of evaluations and project reports.
  • Contract extension after project completion is planned.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed university studies (diploma or master's degree), ideally in the field of transportation systems, mechanical engineering or a related discipline
  • In-depth knowledge in railway operations and technology
  • Ideally knowledge in the field of Automatic Train Operation
  • Ideally knowledge or interest in the area of homologation, rail human factors, risk and safety management
  • Good German and English skills (spoken and written)
