The K.I.E.Z. - Arti­fi­cial Intel­li­gence Entre­pren­eur­ship Cen­ter - is an ini­ti­at­ive to sup­port the found­ing of sci­ence-based star­tups in the field of arti­fi­cial intel­li­gence. The range of ser­vices is geared to the spe­cific needs of AI star­tups and cov­ers the entire innov­a­tion chain: from the iden­ti­fic­a­tion of star­tup poten­tial in AI research to tar­geted sup­port in the incub­a­tion phase and an AI accel­er­ator pro­gram.

K.I.E.Z. is sup­por­ted by Sci­ence & Star­tups, the asso­ci­ation of the star­tup cen­ters of the Ber­lin uni­versit­ies – Freie Uni­versität Ber­lin, Hum­boldt-Uni­versität zu Ber­lin, Tech­nis­che Uni­versität Ber­lin and the Char­ité – Uni­versitätsmed­izin.

K.I.E.Z. is the first of sev­eral nation­wide model pro­jects for more star­tups in the AI sec­tor and is being fun­ded over four years with 6.85 mil­lion euros from the Fed­eral Min­istry of Eco­nom­ics and co-fin­anced by the state of Ber­lin.

The Bridge-to-Mar­ket-Pro­gram has been cre­ated to sup­port the first step to the found­ing of a com­pany: stu­dents and sci­entific employ­ees can apply for funds to con­duct a feas­ib­il­ity study for their idea before mak­ing the next step into the found­a­tion of a star­tup. The pro­gram has already been suc­cess­fully con­cep­tu­al­ized and now needs an enthu­si­astic pro­gram man­ager with organ­iz­a­tional skills to get it star­ted and run­ning. As a pro­gram man­ager of the Bridge-to-Mar­ket pro­gram you are respons­ible for the admin­is­trat­ive pro­ced­ures needed to run the pro­gram and make the par­ti­cip­at­ing teams suc­cess­ful. You take care of the applic­a­tion pro­cess, the budgets and the over­all suc­cess of the pro­gram.

Working field:

YOUR TASKS:

You organ­ize and struc­ture the applic­a­tion phase and applic­a­tion pro­cess for Bridge-to-Mar­ket pro­jects, includ­ing inform­a­tion events, mail­ings, soft­ware setup etc.

You are the point of con­tact for the Bridge-to-Mar­ket teams, the uni­versity star­tup cen­ters and other people inter­ested in the pro­gram.

You accom­pany the accep­ted Bridge-to-Mar­ket teams dur­ing the pro­ject on an admin­is­trat­ive level (over­view of dead­lines to be met, grants and mater­ial costs to be spent, in cooper­a­tion with the gen­eral admin­is­tra­tion of K.I.E.Z.).

You sup­port Mar­ket­ing with con­tent and text for mater­ial such as web­site descrip­tions, info fly­ers and sim­ilar for the pro­gram

You man­age the ongo­ing pro­ject coordin­a­tion, pre­par­a­tion of fac­tual reports and mon­it­or­ing of audit in coordin­a­tion with pro­ject admin­is­tra­tion

You par­ti­cip­ate in the pro­mo­tion of the pro­gram and take care that the pro­gram fits well with the rest of the KIEZ offer­ings.

Requirements:

YOUR PRO­FILE:

Edu­ca­tion in an appro­pri­ate area of respons­ib­il­ity, prefer­ably in eco­nom­ics or equi­val­ent skills and exper­i­ence. Bach­elor's degree is pre­ferred but not a require­ment.

Exper­i­ence in pro­ject admin­is­tra­tion and pro­ject com­mu­nic­a­tion

Secure MS 365 know­ledge and fast learn­ing abil­ity of new soft­ware tools

You are a team player and strong com­mu­nic­ator in Ger­man and Eng­lish

Abil­ity to work inde­pend­ently as well as together with the team.

Know­ledge in entre­pren­eur­ship meth­ods as well as mar­ket and product val­id­a­tion is of advant­age
