Stu­dent assist­ant with Bach­elor degree (m/f/d)

(Pos­i­tion num­ber: 18-2022-SHK Green Vis­ion)

The pos­i­tion is fun­ded until 31 Decem­ber 2022 with the option of exten­sion. The remu­ner­a­tion is cal­cu­lated accord­ing to the require­ments of the TdL. The cur­rent hourly rate for a stu­dent assist­ant with a Bach­elor's degree is 12.37€ . A work­ing time of 10 hours/week is planned.

Key respons­ib­il­it­ies:

Imple­ment­a­tion of visu­al­isa­tion tech­niques with d3js and Python of cli­mate and cli­mate impact data.
Data pre­par­a­tion in ASCII and NetCDF format for the Klima­fol­gen­On­line web portal.
Fur­ther devel­op­ment of the web portal Klima­fol­gen­On­line and integ­ra­tion of visu­al­isa­tion tech­niques.

You are an enrolled mas­ter stu­dent in the field of Com­puter Sci­ence or Nat­ural Sci­ence and you have the fol­low­ing qual­i­fic­a­tions

Pro­gram­ming exper­i­ence with JavaS­cript and Python
Pro­gram­ming exper­i­ence with d3js, C++, C#, Unix shell pro­gram­ming, NetCDF (optional)
Web design (optional)
GIS sys­tems such as Arc­Gis or QGis (optional)
Exper­i­ence with the devel­op­ment of visu­al­isa­tion tech­niques (optional)
Know­ledge of Rus­sian, Tajik, Uzbek, Turk­men or Kyrgyz lan­guage (optional)
