Work­ing field:

The can­did­ate is expec­ted to join a sci­entific col­lab­or­a­tion with clin­ical col­leagues from the Med­ical Uni­versity Gre­if­swald to work on com­pu­ta­tional mod­els of whole-brain dynam­ics and its inter­ac­tion with extern­ally applied elec­tric fields.


Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in com­pu­ta­tional neur­os­cience, com­puter sci­ence, or phys­ics; solid back­ground in non-lin­ear dynam­ics, very good pro­gram­ming skills, very good com­mand of the Ger­man and Eng­lish lan­guage, research exper­i­ence with pop­u­la­tion mod­els of neural dynam­ics is desir­able.
