3 Research Associates/PhD Positions
in Systems Engineering
The Chair of Business Informatics, esp. Systems Engineering offers the following 3 fixed-term positions (The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act [Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG].) starting at the earliest possible date. The positions aim at obtaining further academic qualification (e.g. PhD). Subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L. Through the provision of third-party funding, these positions can become full-time positions.
1. limited for 3 years, which entails 25% of the fulltime weekly hours
2. initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension, which entails 50% of the fulltime weekly hours
3. initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension, which entails 25% of the fulltime weekly hours.
contributions to teaching and research activities of the chair; theoretical and empirical studies; involvement in academic self-government; participation in international conferences and giving presentations in German and English; contributions to externally funded research and development projects.
good university degree (diploma, M.Sc.) in Business Informatics, Business and Engineering, Information Technologies or Business and Economics with an emphasis on Business Informatics; interest in teaching; good analytical skills; very good English skills; ability to work independently and in a team; above- average analytical and conceptual skills in one or more of the following fields: analysis and design methods of system development, business process modeling, process management, hospital management, controlling, programming languages, CASE-tools.
