Within the framework of the Berlin Electron Microscopy Network (BerlinEM Network, mutual DFG project of HU Berlin and TU Berlin), we are looking for a postdoc as full-time job within the project from 1/1/2017 until 31/12/2019. The postdoc performs TEM based electron holography experiments and corresponding data reconstructions for mapping electrostatic potentials of semiconductors, experiments using potential contrast in a SEM, as well as coordination and execution of user requests and establishing scientific links for (holographic) investigations of semiconductor samples by the BerlinEM Network. Experiments will be carried out using our state-of-the-art electron microscopes.
Successful candidates must have completed a university degree (Diplom, Master, or equivalent) and PhD degree on physics or material sciences. Expertise in the above-mentioned scientific areas (especially electron microscopy and semiconductor characterization) is required as well as skills and competences in organization and maintaining scientific networks.
